Horace Doolittle
American, 1792 - 1811
Biography: Horace Doolittle was the son of Amos Doolittle (1775-1832). He was active as an engraver by the time he was twelve years old. A print entitled "Waste Not a Moment" is signed "Horace Doolittle Sc. Aet. 12 Years." His other works include "My Dog and My Gun" and "I am Not Twenty." His death at the age of 29 is recorded in the Connecticut Courant, January 30, 1811.
