The center front has decorative stitching backed with a strip of denim to imitate a flat-felled seam. The neckline and armscyes are bias-faced and top-stitched and edge-stitched. The skirt has a center front seam and center front box pleat, stitched together for the first inch or so. Two one-inch-long belt loops are evenly spaced from center front on the waist seam. The center back of both the bodice and skirt are seamed. The bodice opens at center back with a centered polyester coil zipper. There are two one-inch belt loops on the back, also equally spaced and at the waist seam. The front and back of the garment were assembled and then sewn at the sideseams. Raw edges are serged.
