Description: Photograph of a wood engraving of a group of industrial buildings with smokestacks from which smoke is issuing. The large building with the mansard roof at the left is Cheney Hall. The road in front of Cheney Hall is Hartford Road. The South Manchester Railroad Station is to the right of Cheney Hall. A train is on the tracks. Most of the houses at the far right belong to members of the Cheney family.
Inscription: On recto, lower margin: "Cheney Brothers Mills in 1876."
