Description: Formal portrait of a young man and a young woman seated on an upholstered sofa. She wears a short, sleeveless taffeta gown trimmed with organdy, and jewelry, including a necklace, bracelet, and rings. Filigree buckles are on her shoes. He wears a tuxedo with a bow tie and carnation on his lapel. The ring on his left hand appears to be a college ring. A patterned carpet is on the floor. A cabinet with a lock is in the background.
Subject Note: Albert J. Booth, Jr., "Albie Booth," was a three-sport captain and football star at Yale from 1929 to 1931. He scored all three touchdowns in the 21-13 upset of Army in 1930.
