Description: Framed photographs of the Horace Wells Memorial Tablet and a reprint of an 1870s photograph of the corner of Main St. and Asylum St. in Hartford with an arrow indicating where Wells had his office. Also in the frame is a typed label " A History of and Facts Relating to The Horace Wells Memorial Tablet". On the back, on the letter head of The Connecticut State Dental Association a charge to a committee to transfer custody of the tablet to the Hartford Dental Society. Also inscribed, in pen, on the back a note about the source of the photograph of Main St.
