Description: Drawing of the American Freedom Train. In the front is the steam locomotive used to pull the rest of the train, which curves around the railroad tracks. The locomotive bears the American Freedom Train name, and is branded with stars and its own number (1).
Subject Note: A reproduction of this drawing appears in Richard Welling's book, "Amtrak AFT-1 Turbo old 97 Conrail H-36.34 and other friends." Date Note: The American Freedom Train toured the United States in 1975 and 1976 to commemorate the Bicentennial.
