Description: Thirty photographs of a very young child, seen with his father and other adults, and by himself in posed and candid shots. Photographs are mounted on black paper album pages in red covers with the word "Photographs" stamped in gold foil on the front.
Subject Note: Henry Sanford Thorne (1898 - 1959), the boy in the photographs, was Harriet V.S. Schoonhoven's grandson, the son of her son Victor Corse Thorne. Henry Sanford Thorne was Rosalie Thorne McKenna's father.
Inscription: There are four inscriptions in the album. Under the first photograph in black ink: "Papa + his boy--" Under the 11th photograph in black ink: "See how fast I go--" Under the 17th photograph in black ink: "Henry + [illegible]" Under the 26th photograph: "Henry in Great-Grandfather / suit made by / Great-Great Grandmother / Thorne"
