Description: Three people, two men and a woman, are fishing from a boat. The man on the left is sitting, holding a fishing rod. The woman is sitting with the other man on a bench, and they are both looking over their shoulders into the water. The other man is also holding a fishing rod.
Subject note: The man on the right is tentatively identified as Henry Knopp or Knapp. From the inscriptions on the index card attached to the verso of the contact print of this negative. Date note: While the date provided by Rollie McKenna for this image is circa 1910, it may be closer to 1912 if the film is cellulose nitrate (which it probably is). According to the Image Permanence Institute, Kodak did not start manufacturing 5x7" sheet film until 1912. From "Photographic Negatives: Nature and Evolution of Processes"
