The girl is wearing a dress and a bonnet, and the boy what may be a sailor suit and hat. They are holding gathered branches in their arms. There are more branches scattered around them on the floor. The backdrop is just visible behind them.
Date Note: The date provided is that of the original image. The print is a copy, probably made in the late 1970s by Rosalie Thorne McKenna, who had access to the original or a vintage print. Subject Note: Jonathan Thorne II was the son of Dr. and Mrs. Victor C. Thorne.
