Description: The interior, possibly the foyer or entryway of a building. There is a large Oriental rug on the floor, and many tropical plants in pots, including a grouping of flowering plants over the fireplace. On the wall on the left, there is a plaque. Through the door at the end of the room, a newspaper rack is visible, and through the entryway on the left, a staircase can be seen.
Inscription: Recto, top right, written in red pencil: "78" Verso, center, in red pencil: "[circle around artist's signature stamp]" Bottom right, written in red pencil: "440/25c [the "c" has a horizontal line through it]"
