Description: A young woman is seated in an interior near an open window. She holds a piece of cloth in her left hand and presumably a needle and thread in her right hand. Only the thread is visible. An open book is in her lap. She wears a dress with balloon sleeves and two bracelets. A cross hangs from a ribbon around her neck. Vines, probably ivy, surround the window frame.
Inscription: On recto, lithographed title beneath image, "Too Industrious" [in script]. On verso, inscribed in purple ink, upper left, "808". Inscribed in pencil: lower left, "Print / Box 7 / #11" "299"; lower right, "consv CPC 1987" "Dwr 17" and accession number.
