Description: Piece of brown wrapping paper printed in black ink with the name of Geo. O. Sawyer, a manufacturer and retailer of woman's and infant's clothing in Hartford, CT.
George O. Sawyer and C.H. Emmons were partners in Sawyer and Co., which sold ladies goods in Hartford, Connecticut. Their store at 420 Main Street burned on January 9, 1887.
