Description: Two small drawings of buildings on one sheet. The drawing on the left has some wood frame buildings, and there is a man driving a horse drawn cart on a road. Another man appears to be unloading from the cart. The drawing on the right appears to be a manufacturing building with a small cupola.
Use Note: Original drawings done for G. Fox & Co.'s 100th Anniversary. The drawings appeared in The Hartford Courant as illustrations accompanying full size advertisements on Sundays from December 29, 1946 to December 29, 1947. They were later published in a book: G. Fox & Co. A Century in Connecticut. Hartford, 1948. The drawing on the left appears on page 19, and the drawing on the right appears on page 20. The illustrations also appear on the cover of the book.
Inscription: Inscribed in pencil below the drawing on the left, "1888"; below the drawing on the right, "Collins / 1896". Various notations inscribed in pencil below the drawings.
