Description: Rectangular pasteboard box (.a) and lid (.b) covered with turquoise colored paper. The paper is printed in gold with a repeating design of urns with flowers, birds, and a scene of people rowing in a boat. The lid (.b) has a pasted-on white paper label printed in gold ink with a border design, and reads, "Cohen & De Young's / Portable / Quill Pens, / New-York"
