Description: Man's single-breasted suit coat of a twill-woven, olive green and white wool or wool blend fabric. The coat is half-lined with a light green polyester fabric. The single-breasted front closure has three gold-colored metal buttons, 7/8 inch in diameter. These are stamped with "Remington Peters" and "12" around the center. Corresponding smaller buttons (1/2 inch in diameter) are stitched to each cuff. Each side front has a patch pocket with a flap at the hip. The proper right pocket has a small interior pocket made from lining material. A third pocket is located at the proper left breast. This is a slash pocket with an upturned flap. There are also two double welt pockets at each side breast in the lining. The coat is constructed with a side dart extending down from each armscye. There is a center back seam, with a side back seam on each side back. The center back seam has a vent, 11 1/2 inches long. The sleeves are constructed of two pieces, with a faux vent open for one inch from the cuff. Each cuff is decorated with three buttons as described above. The half-lining covers each side front and the upper back of the coat. The same lining is used for the sleeves. The seam allowances are finished by being turned under and stitched.
