Description: Drawing looking east on Church Street in Hartford toward the multi-story G. Fox building on Main Street. There are people and street lights on the sidewalk, and it is snowing. Christ Church is visible at the end of the street on the right.
Use Note: Original drawing number of a series done for G. Fox & Co.'s 100th Anniversary. The drawings appeared in The Hartford Courant as full size advertisements on Sundays from December 29, 1946 to December 29, 1947. Most of the drawings were later published in a book: G. Fox & Co. A Century in Connecticut. Hartford. This drawing does not appear in the book, it is uncertain if it was published with the other newspaper advertisements.
