Description: Scenes from the Fox-Auerbach European excursion and other family occasions. 2007.24.682 shows three women, Beatrice Fox, Theresa Stern Fox, and Hortense Plaut, seated on a couch. Beatrice is wearing glasses. 2007.24.683 shows a man, George Auerbach, holding his infant daughter, Georgette, aged 13 weeks. 2007.24.684 shows Beatrice's home, probably in Salt Lake City, Utah. A man stands in front of the house. A car is partially visible in the corner of the image. 2007.24.685 shows a woman, probably Hortense Plaut, shoveling snow. 2007.24.686-.689 are group photographs taken in an outdoors location by a river and amongst several trees. Beatrice Fox and Hortense Plaut are in several of the photographs. Several men and women are in the group. 2007.24.690 shows a parade of children in costumes and face paint holding signs, one of which reads, "WHAT AMI?" with the image of a strange, monkey-like figure wearing a skirt. A large, ornate building is visible in the background.
Inscription: 2007.24.685 is inscribed on verso in pencil, "Shovelling Snow / July 27 - '07" and on recto in corner in black ink, "20 [symbol for cents] a day. / 1907"
