Description: Drawing of an open touring automobile driving on a dirt road. The two men in the car are wearing hats, goggles, gloves, and long coats. Five wild turkeys are running away from the car and a dog runs along side. A man wearing a hat and carrying a bucket stands off to the side looking on. In the background are a Virginia rail fence and some trees.
Use Note: Original drawing number 28 of a series of 53 done for G. Fox & Co.'s 100th Anniversary. The drawings appeared in The Hartford Courant as full size advertisements on Sundays from December 29, 1946 to December 29, 1947. It was later published in a book: G. Fox & Co. A Century in Connecticut. Hartford, 1948, p.28.
Inscription: Hand-written in ink at lower left corner of drawing, "OK to plate / we like this HH / 6/11".
