Description: Plans for a two-story Colonial Revival house with an attic and basement. The walls are brick; the slate roof has three chimneys. Blueprints include all four elevations, and floor plans for the basement, first, and second floors. The basement has five rooms in it, but they are not designated for a specific purpose. Included on the first floor are a terrace, living room, hall, dining room, butler's pantry, kitchen, den, pantry, porch, toilet, two closets, and one staircase. The second level includes three chambers (bedrooms), a hall, five closets, and two bathrooms. An additional drawing appears to be a sketch of the foundation.
Inscription: 1989.168.65.7: On recto, right hand side, a legend for building materials (wood, concrete, brick) and their cooresponding symbols. A "DOOR SCHEDULE" also has a letter "A - L" paired with the type of door that it is representing in the blueprints. A "LINTEL SCHEDULE" and "ELECTRIC SYMBOLS" legend illustrate the types of openings as well as the types of outlets, switches, and plugs that would be used. All of the symbols are used throughout the drawings instead of the whole name of the product. All accession numbers are noted on verso of all drawings, lower right, in pencil.
