Description: Architectural plans for a two-and-a-half-story Colonial Revival frame residence with a side-gabled roof, exposed rafter tails, and a two-story cross-gable rear wing. The house is faced with stucco. There are three pedimented dormers, two arched and one gabled, on the facade; and one pedimented gable dormer on the east (rear) elevation. Two of the facade dormers have an 8/1 double-hung window, while the third has a 6/1 double-hung arrangement. The dormer on the rear elevation has a single 6/6 double-hung window. Fenestration throughout the home is a mix of 8/1, 6/1, 6/6, and 4/1 double-hung sash. There is a tripartite window on the facade and a bay window with hipped roof on the east elevation. There is an elaborate tripartite window on the second story of the north (side) elevation. This has a pair of sidelights with leaded tracery, Doric pilasters, and an eliptical fanlight with leaded tracery above. A one-story porch with pitched roof and exposed rafter tails runs along the south (side) elevation. Above this is a second-story porch with pitched roof and exposed rafter tails. The arched portico has Doric supports and a wide entablature. The entry has a Dutch-type door with rectangular multi-pane window in its upper half. Eight drawings are included in the set; front, rear, north, and south elevations; as well as cellar, first-floor, second-floor, and a combined attic and roof plan. The cellar plan indicates a cold room, laundry room, and heater room, as well as range and heater coal storage areas. The first-floor plan includes the front porch, front hall, den, living room, dining room, veranda, butler's pantry, lavatory, kitchen, pantry, and rear entry porch. The second-floor plan has four chambers, two bathrooms, a sleeping porch, and various closets. The third-floor plan includes two maids' rooms, one chamber, one bathroom, a storage area, and various closets.
