Ruth Frances Rising

Ruth Rising was born in 1901, in the area of Risings Corner, just outside of Suffield, Connecticut. She married James Goldie, an artist. The couple lived in Hartford, Connecticut. They had at least two children: Beth (b.a. 1944), and Ellen (Lacondia). Ruth died in 1948 and is buried in her family's plot in Springfield, Massachusetts.
