H. C. Carey & I. Lea

The partners in this Philadelphia map publishing firm were Henry Charles Carey and Isaac Lea. Carey was the eldest son of Mathew Carey, also a map publisher; he became a partner in his father's firm, in 1817, and took control together with Lea, in 1822.
