M. Safford & Co.

Morgan Safford was the principal partner in M. Safford & Co., a business that sold newspapers, periodicals, books and stationery on Main Street, Norwich, Connecticut. Safford was in business for himself in the early 1860s; the name M. Safford & Co. first appears in the Norwich city directory about 1864. The business continued until Safford's death in 1891.
