Seth Beckley

Captain Seth Beckley was born in Wethersfield, Connecticut 7 January 1775. He was the son of Theodore and Lucy (Kirby) Beckley and was married in Berlin, Connecticut to Hudlah (1778/9-1847), daughter of Zebulon and Louis (Deming) Richardson in 1799. He was murdered by robbers, 24 August 1802 at Cape Francois Island. The Beckley's had one child, Lucy Beckley (1800-1876).
