Lester Beach Scheide

Lester B. Scheide was born in San Francisco, California and served in World War I before graduating from Yale in 1920 and coming to Hartford, Connecticut to practice architecture. He designed many houses in West Hartford, Connecticut in a variety of revival styles. A large collection of his architectural drawings is at the Connecticut Historical Society.
