Ernest Frederick Meyer

Ernest Frederick Meyer was born in Rothenberg, Germany in 1863. He studied under American painters William Merritt Chase, John Henry Twachtman, James Carroll Beckwith, Frank Vincent DuMond, and Charles Henry Turner. He lived in New York City and Haddam, Connecticut. He died at the Norwich State Hospital in Norwich, Connecticut in 1952.
