Rhoda Goodrich

Rhoda Goodrich was born 21 January 1793, the daughter of Simeon Goodrich (1762-1847) and Hannah Welles (1760-1844), both of Wethersfield. She had four siblings: Simeon Goodrich (b. 1789), Hannah Goodrich (b. 1790), Daniel Goodrich (1795-1801) and Elizur Goodrich (1798-1854). Rhoda died unmarried on 22 June 1881. She is buried in Wethersfield near her brother Elizur, and his family.

In 1870 she was living in Newington with her nephew Elizur Stillman Goodrich and his second wife Mary Ann Hanmer, and their young children James R. Goodrich and Mabel Edith Goodrich (1867-1959), who married Goerge Hills Gilman in 1898. Elizur Stillman Goodrich was the son of her brother Elizur Goodrich (1798-1854) and his first wife Jerusha Welles Stillman (1803-1835).
