Frances Mary Dana

Frances Mary Dana was the great granddaughter of General Israel Putnam. She was born on the 13 June 1800 in Pomfret, Windham County, Connecticut, the daughter of Israel Putnam Dana and his wife, Sarah Sophia Smith. She was the first wife of the Rev. Austin Hazen (1786-1854) whom she married on 1 June 1819 at Danville, Vermont. They had four children: Sophia, Allen, Francis Emily and Israel. Frances Mary Dana Hazen died on 11 June 1831 in Hartford, Vermont.
