Lovina Good

Lovina Good was born in New London on 10 or 20 August 1792; her name is spelled "Lovina" on her sampler (1976.8.0) but is spelled "Lavina" or "Lavinia" in records. She was the daughter of William Good and Abigail Latham who married on 24 June 1787. Her siblings include Edward Latham (b. 8 July 1788), Abby (b. 4 July 1794), and William Whiting (b. 22 June 1796).

Her maternal grandfather was Captain Edward Latham, who fought in the Battle of Groton Heights.
