Mary Clapp

Mary Clapp of Hartford, Connecticut, was thirteen years old in August 1804. She may have married into the Butler family, because the sampler she made in August 1804 (1973.97.0) passed from the Butler family to Mary Clapp's descendant, John Henry Newman Adams (b. 1900) of Fontana, California.
