Polly Ives

Polly Ives was born on 9 January 1783 in New Haven, Connecticut. She was christened on 26 February 1783 at the 2nd Congregation in New Haven, Connecticut. Polly Ives was the daughter of Levi Ives (1750-1826) of New Haven, Connecticut and Lydia Augur Ives (1754-1802) of New Haven, Connecticut. Her eight siblings were Elihu (1777-1849); Eli (1779-1861); Sophia (1788-1854); Williams (b.1788); Levi (1773-1811); Lydia A. (1795-1872); Nancy Ives (1785-1836); and Mary (1774-1776). Polly Ives married Asaph Dunbar (1780-1814) on 17 November 1805 in New Haven, Connecticut. She died on 13 June 1855 and is buried at Grove Street Cemetery in New Haven, Connecticut.
