Isaac Hancock

Isaac Hancock was born 24 November 1802 in Stonington, Connecticut. He was the son of Rebecca Lewis Hancock and Isaac Hancock. He married Ann Hempstead (1798-1896), daughter of Mary Crary Hempstead and Edward Hempstead. They had five children: William E. (b. 1824); Charles (1826-1889); Dezier (Mrs. Elijah Benjamin) (b. 1829); Julia (Mrs. Enoch Noyes Staplin) (1832-1856); and Mary F. (Mrs. Edward G. Spalding) (1835-1900). Isaac Hancock died 20 May 1890.
