George Douglas Rankin Sr.

George Douglas Rankin of Old Saybrook, Connecticut, was the President of the Hartford Faience Company in Hartford, Connecticut. On 14 December 1904, he married Margaret Lillian Hallberg (1882-1968) of Chicago, Illinois. They had four children: George Douglas Rankin, Jr.; Lawrence H. "Bud" Rankin; Margaret Almira Estey Rankin (1908-2004); and Florence Julia Peabody Rankin.
