Sophronia PalmerAmerican, 1799 - 1866

Sophronia Palmer was born 5 February 1799, the oldest daughter of Honorable William Palmer of East Haddam, Connecticut. She married Thomas Curtis Boardman (1797-1865) on 6 January 1822. They had five children: Julia Sophronia (1822-1906); William Bulkley (b. 1824); Dorothy Amelia (1825-1842); Francis Randolph (b. 1828); and Dorothy Amelia Boardman Reynolds (1842-1903). They had at least two grand children, Elsie Boardman Reynolds (1879-1962) and Harry W. Reynolds (1881-1971). Sophronia Palmer Boardman died in East Haddam, Connecticut, on 10 March 1866, at age 67.
