Colonel William Lawrence JillsonAmerican, 1807 - 1861
Colonel William Lawrence Jillson was born on 18 December 1807 in Scituate, Rhode Island. He was the son of Asa Jillson (1783-1848) and Anna H. Sabin Jillson (1785-1868), and the brother of Elizabeth Camilla Jillson. On 24 December 1831, he married Caroline Curtis (1808-1862) of South Coventry, Connecticut. They had eight children, two of whom are William Curtis Jillson and Caroline Louisa Jillson. Colonel William Lawrence Jillson died on 1 June 1861 in Willimantic, Connecticut.
