David Clark

David Clark was born in Hampton, Connecticut, on 12 October 1806. He was the son of Eleanor Fuller Clark and Amasa Clark. David Clark lived in Hartford, Connecticut, and he married Julia M. Ross of Chaplin, Connecticut, on 12 October 1827. He was a successful merchant, and also came to be know for his generosity and philanthropy. David Clark died on 8 October 1889.
