Calvin WilleyAmerican, 1769-after 1830

Willey, Calvin (1769-post 1830). Born in East Haddam to Susannah Fuller and Lemuel Willey, Calvin Willey likely trained in the Colchester area and immediately afterwards moved to Lenox in western Massachusetts, perhaps returning briefly when he sold his East Haddam property to Ashbel Olmstead in 1791. He married Lurenia Dimmick (b. 1775) of Marlboro, Vermont, about 1793. Between 1800 and 1830 he lived in New Haven, Vermont, after which his name disappears from the census records.
