Ensign & ThayerAmerican, 1849 - 1850

Edward H. Ensign and Horace Thayer were partners in the Buffalo map, chart, and print publishing firm, Ensign & Thayer from 1849 to 1850. That firm succeeded Ensigns & Thayer, which had included Edward's father, Timothy Ensign. Ensign & Thayer co-published at least sixty-three prints with the Hartford lithography firm of E. B. & E.C. Kellogg.
