Cornelia Gross

Cornelia Gross, the daughter of Hilda Welch Gross (b. 1879) and Charles Welles Gross (b. 1876), was born in Hartford, Connecticut. She lived in Hartford for most of her life. She attended Hartford Public High School and graduated from Vassar College in 1936. From 1957-1975 she was a comissioner of the Housing Authority, Hartford. She is buried in Cedar Hill Cemetery.

She had two brothers, Mason and Spencer Gross (d. 1982). Her father was a lawyer.
