H. O. Warner

Herbert O. Warner was born in Hartford on September 9, 1861. He was employed by the Connecticut Mutual Insurance Company from 1878 to 1931, where he worked in the Cashier's Department and for many years was custodian of the security vault. He was an amateur photographer and was chairman of the Hartford Section of the Connecticut Trails System. He laid many trails in People's Forest in Barkhamsted and also worked on the Appalachian Trail. He died in Hartford Hospital in 1946.
