The firm formed by partners Lucius Case and Alfred R. Skinner dissolved April 10, 1843 and was continued by the firm Case & Litchfield. Case & Skinner are listed in the Hartford city directories as copperplate printers, but they also sold "A complete assortment of maps, charts, lithographic prints and steel engravings" They also published (but apparently did not print) a few lithographs.
