Mitchell & Hinman were map publishers located at 6 North Fifth Street, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. One of the partners was Samuel Augustus Mitchell; the identity of Hinman is not known. By 1837, Hinman was in partnership with Dutton, at the same address. Mitchell continued to produce maps on his own.
