League of Women Voters of Connecticut

The League of Women Voters of Connecticut was founded in New Haven, Connecticut on January 18, 1921. Originally an iniative of the Connecticut Women's Suffrage Association, following the passage of the Nineteenth Amendment, it began to education and organize women to vote for reform.
