William Eldridge

William Eldridge was born 14 December 1769 in Groton, Connecticut, son of Charles Eldridge and his wife Rachel Avery. He married Elizabeth (Eliza) Avery (1771-1816) on 23 September 1794. They had two children: Frances Elizabeth (b. 1806); and Charles William (1811-1883). He married second, Paulina Lee (1787-1854) in 1817. They had three children: Richard Henry (b.1818); Glorianna (b.1819); and Ellen Paulina (b.1822). He died in Connecticut on 2 December 1852.
