BiographyDexter S. Case served for many years as the postmaster, night watchman, and constable for the village of Sound View in Old Lyme, Connecticut. In 1933, he disappeared without a trace. In 1935, he was living in Katahdin, Maine. In the 1940 Federal Census, he is listed as back in Connecticut, living in Collinsville with his brother-in-law.
