Charles E. Webster

BiographyCharles E. Webster was born in Mauch Chunk, Pennsylvania on 5 May 1842. He graduated from Princeton in 1862 and was employed as a civil engineer by the railroads, including the New York & New England, the Chesapeake & Ohio, and the Saint Louis & San Francisco. In 1868 and 1879 he lived in Waterbury, Connecticut, while working on the New England Railroad. In 1869, he was living in Southbury, Connecticut, and while there, he met Mary Sophia Wheeler of Southford, whom he married on 9 June 1870. He died in Mauch Chunk on 7 October 1920.
