Alice Tillinghast Searle

Alice Tillinghas Searle was born in 1869. She was the granddaughter of Marcus Lucius Filley, who was the son of Captain Oliver Filley owner of the Tin Shop, in Bloomfield, Connecticut. She was a well-known miniature painter who exhibited her work in exhibitions in Brooklyn and New York City.
