Ferdinand D'Esopo

born 1883
BiographySon of Donato and Grazia D'Esopo who immigrated to Hartford in the 1870's. Was educated in the public schools in Hartford, graduating from the Brown School and the Hartford Public High School. He was then admitted to the Yale Law School and opened his own office in the D'Esopo Building, 647 Main Street, Hartford. He was an Republican and active politician, as well as a fraternalist, engaged in many fraternal societies. He married Carmela (Nellie) J. Tremont sometime between 1911 and 1913. In 1917 the two had a son, Ferdinand (Fred) P. D'Esopo.
