Dominick DeLucco
BiographyBorn in 1895, Dominick J. DeLucco was the son of two Italian immigrants from Southern Italy. He owned a restaurant in Hartford, Connecticut and became Hartford's first Italian-American Mayor from 1953-1955 and succeeded to office while deputy mayor, from 1960-1961. He served in World War I and died in 1976 at the age of 81.
