H. D. UdellAmerican

An article in the Hartford Daily Courant on September 14, 1868 identified H. D. Udell as "an operator for Prescott & White" and stated that he had taken over 100 stereo views of Rockville. A second article, which appeared in the Courant in 1869, credited Udell with a photograph of the "new stone bridge" in Windsor. Udell subsequently opened his own studio; his imprint appears on stereo views in the John Craig Collection.
